Localization
Settings → Localization has one control: the currency Assemblified shows costs and prices in.
Currency
Section titled “Currency”Pick a currency from the list to choose the symbol used for displayed costs, prices and margins. Reports use your store’s currency when it is available, so their currency can differ from this preference. The list is the full set of ISO currency codes, shown as symbol, code and name — for example $ USD (US Dollar). The default is USD.
The change takes effect straight away. There is no Save button here, because there is nothing left to save by the time you see the result.
Where the choice is stored
Section titled “Where the choice is stored”The preference is remembered per browser, not per store. With browser storage available, it survives closing the tab and comes back the next time you open the app in the same browser. A colleague opening the app on their own machine starts from the default, and so do you on a second device.
Clearing site data, ending a private browsing session or blocking all storage can remove the preference. You can still change the display while the app is open, but the browser needs to retain the choice for the next visit.
That is deliberate: it is a reading preference, not a store-wide setting, so one person changing it never changes what anybody else sees.
Language
Section titled “Language”Assemblified follows your Shopify admin language when a translation is available. Other languages fall back to English. There is no separate language picker in the app; older links to a language setting open this page.
Dates, numbers and currency display follow the active app language. Your product names, saved names, notes and existing assistant conversations keep their original text. Packing slips remain in English. Downloaded files and Shopify admin extensions keep their existing text.
